LaingBuisson announces two key appointments to support the business’s expansion. Heidi Nicholson joins as Head of Business Development and Neil Waring as Chief Technology Officer.

These appointments reflect the company’s strategy of building on its heritage as the leading healthcare market intelligence provider for health and social care markets and will enable LaingBuisson to originate new data and intelligence driven consultancy business and develop more sophisticated cloud-based data solutions for clients.

Heidi Nicholson joins as Head of Business Development from Alzheimer’s Society where she was the Business Manager to the CEO. Her previous experience includes working in Parliament and in the research and business development teams of the executive resourcing arms of Tribal Group plc and Capita plc. She is responsible for marketing LaingBuisson’s products and services and co-ordinating the company’s response to requests for consultancy services.

Neil Waring joins as Chief Technology Officer from Karma Applied Science, a specialist data science and healthcare software developer where he was co-founder and remains a Director. Neil has more than 25 years’ experience in the software industry, including a period as a Microsoft consultant. His focus is ensuring LaingBuisson’s technology strategy is aligned with its business strategy and he will lead on the design and architecture of the company’s databases, data solutions and Data Protection compliance.
