We are delighted to announce we will be partnering with The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) as their Data Partner, as well as helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.

The Care Workers’ Charity supports almost 2 million care workers in the UK, many of whom care for some of the most vulnerable people in society and often with little recognition or reward. Care workers face challenges every day such as loss of income, inconsistent hours, consequences of low recruitment and retention and often lack adequate resources. The CWC provides a safety net for care workers who are in unforeseen financial or emotional crisis with one off grants or with mental health support.

A grant of £500 for a family means they can continue to heat their house over winter, repair their car to ensure they can get to work. Financial support can ease the stress for a care worker and critically, helps them to keep caring.

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of The Care Workers’ Charity, comments:

“We are very grateful that LaingBuisson has become our data partner for the next year. Their advocacy and support will help the raise the awareness of the charity and enable us to continue to do our vital work supporting UK care workers”

William Laing, Chairman of LaingBuisson, comments:

“We are delighted to support such a worthy cause and look forward to working closely with the Care Workers’ Charity.”

Both organisations will work alongside each other, increasing awareness and understanding of each other’s work.
